Papakshya ghat is situated at Binika and is about 29 km Sonepur Town. People believe that a bath in this Papakshaya Ghat washes away all sins, and according to the legendary king of Puri, Anathabhima Deva, was afflicted with a terrible disease and was cured by taking a holy dip here. People come here to bathe in large numbers during lunar and solar eclipses.
