The Pancharatha Temple is located at the centre of Sonepur town. This beautiful temple, constructed in the shape of a chariot, resembles the Sun Temple at Konark. It is a Shiva temple where Shiva, Parvati, Kartik, Ganesh, and Nandi (Brushav) are worshipped in five shrines.
