Nalco is the Major company Indian Aluminum Industry. It is around 12 Km distance from Angul town. Nalco is self-sufficient in aluminum and gives the country a hi-tech edge in producing this metal to the best of world standards. Nalco was incorporated in 1981 in the Public Sector to exploit a part of the large deposits of bauxite discovered on the East Coast. There is also a beautiful park inside the Nalco Nagar.
