Sapanpur Cave and Mahimagadi are located on the hilltop and is 10 km distance from Cuttack Tangi and 6 km west of Kanakgiri Hills. One has to climb 100 steps to reach it. The cave is about 70 feet long, and the entrance is narrow. After walking 20 feet, a room inside the cave comes into view, measuring 15 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 8 feet high. On the opposite side of the cave, a narrow tunnel stretches far. At the lower elevation of this cave, there is the meditation temple of Mahima Gosein Pitha and an empty temple.
This Sapanpur cave is surrounded by natural beauty, with a series of small hills dotting the green farmland. There is a beautiful children’s park at the foot of this hill.
