Jagannath Temple, Rayagada

Jagannath Temple is located inside Rayagada Town and is only just 2 km from Maa Majhighariani Temple. Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra are worshipped in this temple. According to locals and history, the temple was built more than 50 years ago. At this place, the new temple was inaugurated in 2007 by the Maharaja of Puri Gajapati. 

Ratha Yatra is the main festival of this temple, which attracts thousands of devotees. There are hills and streams all around the temple, which are surpassing to see.  The temple is also known as Sradhha Shrikhetra. Jagannath Temple is one of the most famous temples in Rayagada District.
