Mahatma Gandhi Park is located behind the Golden Beach of the Puri seashore coastline. The park was established and is now maintained by NALCO. The park has walking tracks, seating arrangements, and various exercise equipment for all age groups. There is a huge statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the center of the park, and a huge brass bell hangs nearby, so it is delightful to hear the sound of the bells in the sea breeze. There is a watchtower where one can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea beach. The best time to visit is in the early morning and evening for exercise, jogging, and peace. The park has clean toilets, drinking water, and photography facilities for visitors.
- Photography is allowed, and the park is well-lit during evenings for beautiful captures.
- Mahatma Gandhi Park offers a peaceful break from Puri’s bustling beaches and temple zones. With its sea-facing views, lush greenery, playgrounds, fitness zones, and symbolic architecture, it blends natural beauty with cultural reflection—perfect for families, fitness lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking some calm coastal charm.
