Shree Shree Omkareshwar Temple is located on the banks of the Dhaudia River in Puri District, just 5 km from Jagannath Temple. Lord Shiva is worshipped in this temple in the avatar from Omkareswar. At the entrance of this temple, is a huge Nandi statue facing Lord Shiva. One of the attractions of this place is the 108 Jyotirlinga in a hall inside the temple where devotees find peace to worship. On the temple premises, there are Lord Vishnu, Maha Lakshmi, Narasimha idols, Panchamukhi Hanuman, huge chariot wheels and Radha Krishna hanging in a hammock in the garden.
The temple walls are decorated with pictures of the Hindu Gods. The main festival of this Shiva temple is Mahashivratri, on which a large number of devotees come from far and wide. Wedding ceremonies and other auspicious functions are also held here. Shree Shree Omkareshwar Mandir is one of the famous temples in Puri, Odisha.
