Berhampura Nature Camp is one of Odisha’s hidden gems, located on Berhampura Island near Satapada, in the heart of Chilika Lake, accessible by a boat ride from Satapada—approximately 25 minutes by boat and about 50 km from Puri—Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon. Managed by Odisha Ecotourism, this camp offers a unique island experience, surrounded by blue waters, mangrove forests, and a variety of migratory birds. Apart from Berhampur Nature Camp, there are Rajhans Nature Camp and Mangalajodi Nature Camp in Chilika Lake.
Satapada is in Puri District, Odisha, where the lake meets the sea, making it a scenic spot for nature tourism. The surrounding islands offer stunning landscapes around the lake and the sea mouth, making it an ideal destination for photographers and nature lovers. Satapada Nature Camp has 08 comfortable, eco-friendly non-AC cottages with lake views for tourists. And local Odia cuisine, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, is included in most packages. The boat transfer to the island from Satapada is part of the experience. Barhampura Nature Camp is a tourist attraction in the Puri District.
Berhampura Nature Camp Booking Price & Facilities
- The booking price for a standard room in a non-AC double-bed suite for two adults at Brahampura Nature Camp is approximately Rs. 4,500 per day. (Exclude Tax)
- The tariff includes complimentary lunch, dinner, and breakfast. An entry fee of Rs. 00.00 per day will be applied extra.
- The facility to accommodate one extra person (4-18 years old) is available for an additional charge of Rs 1,000 per day.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are complimentary and limited to the number of people named on the ticket.
- Children from 4 to 18 years old will be accommodated. The parents will be charged an additional fee at the destination, as per the tariff.
- The visitor must present a printed copy of the accommodation booking and entry ticket, along with valid identification.
- The operation of AC at the location is subject to electricity availability.
- Check-in is at 12 pm and check-out is at 10 am.
