Varahi Temple is located at Chaurashi on the bank of the Prachi river this temple is dedicated to Goddess Varahi. It is 10 km from Nimapada and about 47 km from Puri. The sight of Varahi Temple is only half a km from Amareswar. The goddess Varahi is the shrining idol of the temple. The Temple belongs to the 10th century AD.
The height of the temple is 25 feet like Khakhara style and one of the oldest temples of Odisha. The walls are embellished with figures of divinities decorative motifs and other secular themes. The Varahi Devi Temple of the Saptamatruka and Chamundi is very common in Odisha. Independent shrine of Varahi is extremely rare. Nimapada Barahi Mandri is one of the famous temples in Puri District.
