Hot Spring Complex is located at Atri. It is around 15 km distance from Khordha town and 40 km from Bhubaneswar. Atri is famous for its perennial Hot Spring. The hot spring is reputed to have medical properties, which are used both intensively and extensively for the cure of skin diseases. The water of the Hot Spring (57 degrees centigrade) contains small doses of sulphur flavour when heated to 100-degree centigrade. The Complex has 4 bath tanks for the general public, which water comes from the main Hot spring tank(Kund). Atri Hot water Spring is a famous tourist attraction near Bhubaneswar.
Not far from the Hot Spring there is the sacred shrine of Lord Hatakeswar Temple. A great annual fair is held at the temple on the day of Makar Sankranti, in which large numbers of visitors come and worship. Lord Hatakeswar Temple fulfils the wishes of the devotees. There is a large pond inside the temple Campus where the devotees bathe and get rid of the disease. Atri hot Spring is one of the most popular tourist places in Khordha, Odisha.
