Mangalajodi Bird Sanctuary is located at a distance of 40 km from the district headquarters Khordha. It is a destination to get a peep into Mother Nature. It is an Ecotourism destination on the northern banks of Chilika Lake in Odisha, “The Bird’s Paradise” hosts more than 3,00,000 birds in its marshy waters, especially in winter. Conservation of the wetland ecosystem and its avifauna is the key to the whole initiative.
