Baba Bukhari Peer dargah is located about 15 km distance from Khordha towards the southeast of the new bus stand. The place is famous for the Bukhari Baba peer. He was one of the eminent Muslim sadhus. He was born during the 17th century AD in Samarkand, Russia. He came to Odisha during the reign of Maharaja Ramachandra Dev II of Khorda, as found in the history of Odisha written by Stalin Saheb in 1953 AD.
According to History, when Baba came to Kaipadar. The place was a dense forest full of wild animals. Baba remained here in the thatched house and became popular for his Sidhi. Gradually, a large number of people came to him with a view to fulfilling their desire. Now, a temple is there in the model of Kadam Rasul. The Bibhuti of Bukhari Baba is very effective, which cleans all the diseases on faith. The 24th Ramajan month is observed here each year with much pomp and ceremony, irrespective of caste and creed.
