Mahavinayak Temple is located on a hill near Chandikhol town inside the Mahavinayak Reserved Forest and is around 55 km distance from Jajpur and 45 km from Cuttack. It is one of the oldest Ganesh temples in Odisha. Apart from Lord Ganesha, Shiva, Vishnu, Durga, and Surya are also worshipped in this temple, which is known as Pancha Devata or Mahavinayak.
