Mahavinayak Temple, Chandikhole, Jajpur

The Mahavinayak Temple is located on a hill near Chandikhole, which is inside the Mahavinayak Reserved Forest. It is one of the oldest Ganesh temples in Odisha. It is around 55 km distance from Jajpur and 45 km from Cuttack. Apart from Lord Ganesha, Shiva, Vishnu, Durga, and Surya are also worshipped in this temple, which is known as Pancha Devata or Mahavinayak. A beautiful stream flows from the top of the Mahavinayak forest through the side of the temple, which is another attraction for tourists.
